Q & A's
What time does the ceremony start?
The ceremony will start promptly at 5 PM—don’t be that person we have to text asking, “Where are you?” Be sure to arrive a bit early,
Where should I park?
We highly encourage you to take an Uber or hop on the shuttle—because let's be honest, no one wants to see you trying to do the "I’m fine to drive" dance after a few drinks. Let’s keep the celebration fun and safe! Plus, you can skip the parking stress and enjoy the night without worrying about finding your car in a sea of vehicles.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We’d love to invite the whole world, but the venue’s got a strict headcount, and we’re not trying to end up on a very special episode of “How Did We Fit This Many People In Here?” Please follow the invite instructions so we don’t end up playing Tetris with seating arrangements. No surprise +1s, no last-minute additions—we promise, it’ll make the day smoother (and less stressful for us!).
What should I wear?
No white—leave that to the bride unless you’re planning to outshine her (in which case, we’ll have words). If you’re unsure whether your outfit is “appropriate,” just send a pic to Katilyn for final approval. Semi-formal is the vibe, but make sure your shoes are dance-ready—we want to see those moves, not just your outfit!
Will there be food?
You better believe it! We’re not going to let you dance on an empty stomach. There will be plenty of delicious bites to keep you going, so don’t worry about those “hangry” moments—just save some room for fun!
Will there be transportation to and from the venue?
No limo service to the ranch—sorry, Beyoncé. You’ll need to drive or carpool out to the venue.
But don’t worry—after the party, we’ve got shuttles ready to scoop you up and drop you safely in downtown Wimberley and nearby areas. Dance hard, drink well, and let us get you home without needing to call your mom.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We know you want to capture every moment, but we’ve got a professional photographer who’s way better at it than your phone. So, please, let them do their thing while you focus on not crying during the vows. You can snap all the pics you want at the reception—we promise, there will be plenty of photo ops once the party kicks off!
What’s the best way to show up with gifts?
We’ll have a card table, but here’s the twist—no physical gifts, please! We’re going for cash only. (But don’t worry, we’ll make it easy with a QR code, so you can donate without even breaking a sweat.) Think of it as a gift that doesn’t need to be returned, unwrapped, or shoved in the back of a closet. We promise we’ll spend it wisely… well, most of it.
Can I stay at the venue?
As much as we’d love to have a sleepover, unfortunately, there’s no overnight stay at the venue. You’ll need to pack it up and head out by 11:30—unless you’ve mastered the art of invisibility. But don’t worry, the party doesn’t have to stop there; we’ll leave you with enough memories (and maybe a hangover) to carry you through the night!
How do I RSVP?
It’s simple—just click on the “RSVP” tab on the home screen and let us know if you’ll be joining the party. No need to send carrier pigeons or smoke signals—we’ve made it super easy for you. Just a few clicks, and you’re officially on the guest list!
Will there be drinks?
Yes, we’ve got an open bar, so drink up! But please, tip your bartenders—don’t make them start a “mystery shot” challenge for you. Drink responsibly, folks. And for the love of all things holy, no bringing your own booze—this isn’t a BYOB situation. Save it for the tailgate!
Are KIDS allowed?
We love your kiddos—but this party’s for grown-ups only. Think of it as a night off filled with adult beverages, loud music, and zero Goldfish crackers.
If you bring a little one, don’t be surprised when we hand you a juice box and politely send you back to the hotel. No hard feelings, just house rules!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting—so if Mother Nature’s in a good mood, we’ll be soaking up the sunshine. The reception will be indoors, where we promise there will be no rain, no wind, and no need for sunscreen! But just in case the weather gets dramatic, we’ve got a backup plan, so don’t worry about getting caught in a downpour while you’re dancing!
What happens if I’m running late?
If you're running behind, no worries! Just hang out by the house until cocktail hour at 5:30. But please, DO NOT interrupt the ceremony because you're late. We love you, but the last thing we need is a dramatic entrance while we're trying to say "I do." Show up fashionably late, but make sure it’s after the vows!
For all you smokers
We’ve got two designated smoking areas for those who need to step outside and take a quick break. Just please, no lighting up on the dance floor—unless you’re trying to start a new trend. Keep it in the designated spots, and we’ll all stay happy!
